Berkeley Preparatory School is the premier private school in Tampa Bay, Florida.
The 84 acre campus has a mix of 3 divisions; lower, middle and upper and each division needed its own promotional film to attract new students.
The films needed to be simple and fun for the children to understand but also resonate with their parents who would ultimately make the decision on whether or not to choose Berkeley.
Each film would need an individual treatment to ensure it captured the key points for each division whilst retaining a common look and feel that would make the films work together as series.
The time available on site was going to be limited, and capturing content for all 3 films meant we had to ensure a super tight shooting schedule.
We took the key messages from the client, and re-wrote them into short soundbites for the students themselves to read giving an authentic and natural narrative.
This allows the film from each division to take on its own personality and lets the beautiful images tell the story.
On the shoot days the teams separated, capturing audio in the school studio and video from across the campus.
We shot on Red with post production taking place in our London office.
We successfully delivered to schedule and to a high standard and the feedback we received was extremely positive.
The Director of admissions said: We are very excited about our finished product and have already received accolades from a number of families.
We’ll look forward to working with you on our next project. It was great fun!
